5Surprised at how well these work.
By Nancy Caruthers
I initially thought these would be good for short trips and low speeds, but wound up in the Daytona Beach area looking at a great deal on a kayak and only had these to get it home to Key West. Long story short; they fit over my Isuzu OEM cargo rails and my ratcheting straps secured everything to the top. I did drive a little slower than usual, but these worked great and got the kayak and us home safe.

Would recommend to friends.

5Awesome kayak block kit! Great tiedowns!
By Jim Reinknecht
I bought these blocks to put my Hobie Pro Angler 14 on top of my pop-up camper. My pro angler fully loaded is a HEAVY kayak, nearly 180lbs. I loaded it on top, slid these blocks underneath, and strapped it down. The kit comes with GREAT tie down straps and a handy webbing carry bag. These are an EXCELLENT value, and worked so well that I'm not going to bother putting a roof rack on the top of my pop up camper. Thanks for the savings!!!

4Great price and does the job
By Rian McGonigal
I found this kayak car carry kit for $20 and ordered two so I could carry 2 kayaks on my Honda sedan. I also have an Exterra with an original equipment roof rack but can only fit one kayak, and the Exterra roof is very high. The price was right and these sell for $40 or more in local sporting goods stores. Somehow I lost out on the supersaver shipping with my 'one click' order on Amazon, but that was only $5 so I still win. It costs many hundreds to get the right roof racks for your car if you go with Yakima or Thule, so these simple kayak carriers serve me well. I'm fortunate that the lake I frequent is only 2 minutes away, but now the cold is driving me down to Phoenix area to paddle and I'll see how these foam carriers do on a 2 hour commute each way.
