This is better than I thought!!!

This Yakima double down hitch bike rack is excellent quality. It truly needs no tools to instal to your car's hitch. It locks so no one can steal it. If you lock your bikes then you can have peace of mind that your bikes won't be stolen either. It folds down very easily and smoothly to get into your car's hatch. The arms that carry the bikes fold down very easily to that the whole piece is tucked behind your car and won't give you or others any hard time parking or guessing how much room the hitch is sticking out. An extra bonus is that both tips have bottle opener features. I'm not a drinker, but, hey pretty cool. I am very pleased with this rack. It fits both my mountain bikes without scratching them. The rubber tethers are strong and really lock down bikes. I'm so glad I waited to get this rack instead of a much more expensive one being sold at my local bike shop.

Make life so much easier.

I've struggled with 4 different strap mounted bike racks before breaking down and buying this guy. It couldn't be easier to mount bikes. Before installing this rack, I timed how long it took to attach my old rack and mount 2 bicycles - 16 minutes. Then I timed the Yakima. 2.5 minutes! Great design. I did have to purchase and install a trailer hitch for my Prius to except the Yakima. This not a cheap solution for transporting bicycles on your car, but if you do it a lot, it's certainly worth every penny.

Yakima Double Down Ace 2 Hitch

The bike rack fits nicely on my Toyota Tacoma with no movement. The only issue I have is I can't get the sliding SWITCHBLADE anti-sway cradles to completely adjust to my bike. But the bike does not move at all once it is secured with the rubber straps. The product was delivered when expected.
